| guzer | Mar 31, 2:49am | | I think I thumbs upped a certain website too many times and now the pages that I thumbs up do not show up as pages in my liked category. I didn't mean to spam the database, I was simply entering content that I enjoyed. Is there anything I can do about this? What are the long term effects of this site on stumbleupon? So, what about others that stumble the site, can they add this domain to their favorites still? Thanks in advance for any help. |

"Members who repeatedly post from a particular site (often their own) find that some of those posts fail to appear on their blog pages.
We have a limit in place that prevents multiple posting from a single source. If you habitually post content from a small set of domains, you may have encountered this limit. You can verify this by thumbing a page from a site which you have not previously rated; if the rating fails only for the site which you have previously rated & reviewed, then it is likely that you have encountered the posting limit.
If you wish to actively promote a site, business or service - you might find this service more appropriate: stumbleupon.com/ads/ [stumbleupon.com/ads/]
Note that, once encountered, the limit cannot and will not be lifted." |

| guzer | Mar 31, 4:36pm | Wow what a relief. I thought I made a mistake and got my site banned. I removed all the stuff I posted. Others had thumbed them in the past and I figured since I was new I would thumb it too. Won't do that again. I am very glad I get a 2nd chance. Now I am using the site as intended, checking out stuff and reviewing it. It is quite entertaining, slightly addicting, and I can see how I will burn hours here, yet I will have to limit myself to only viewing a hand full of content per day.
Thanks guys! |
