But today, when I attempted to submit a blog post it wasn't accepted & never displayed in my profile. There was no message explaining what happened. I've tried submitting the post 3 times unsuccessfully. Can anyone think what may be happening? Are there ever technical glitches that might cause this failure?

One way to test if you are affected is to see if the problem with thumbing only applies to particular sites you have thumbed before. If so, you've hit this limit. If you can't thumb any sites at all (try Google.com or StumbleUpon.com to test it), let us know as you may have a different problem, but looking at your page I'd suspect the thumbing limit is the explanation. |

Sponsor | | CastorQuinn | Feb 14, 2:50am | I don't know - until Richard has a chance to test to see whether this problem effects all pages or just the specific domains he has been thumbing vehemently, we won't know the cause of the problem.
In your case Jengis it is unlikely to be the thumbing limit, but you also can test this by attempting to thumb a page from a site you have never thumbed before (Google.com for example, or whatever domain is new for you). If you can't thumb pages from any domain, that's a bug. If you are only having a problem with specific domains you have thumbed before, it is the anti-spam thumbing limit kicking in.
Everyone experiencing this behaviour will need to run that diagnostic to find the cause of the problem. |
